Adamsburg and Community Volunteer Fire Department assisted the protective services class at the CWCTC with rescue operations. The students in this program learn many different aspects of public safety including fire fighting, emergency medical services, and police services. Today they used Rescue 10 to learn how to work as a Rescue Company in extricating patients from a vehicle. The vehicle was overturned as if involved in a collision, and the crews used airbags and air shores to stablize the vehicle. The students then removed the roof of the vehicle while it was upside down.
