Adamsburg and Community Volunteer Fire Department along with Penn Township Ambulance and North Huntingdon Rescue 8 participated in a rope rescue and rigging class. This skill allows rescuers to rescue patients that may be below grade and need “hauled” or lifted to a higher elevation. This training exercise was conducted over three days. Rescuers successfully worked together to complete this exercise by setting up rescue systems that let them haul patients up the side of two different embankments.
