Station 10 was activated for smoke showing from the roof of a local industrial business. Chief 10 on the scene advised heavy smoke coming from the roof. Quint 10 was assigned to the front of the structure to send its ladder to the roof and to force entry, Engine 10 to the rear to setup ground ladders, Engine 2 hit the hydrant and lay a supply line into Quint 10. Engine 15 to the rear of the structure to assist Engine 10, Engine 3 assigned to Quint 10 to assist their roof crew along with standing by for standpipe operations, Engine 2’s crew to the front door assist Quint 10’s entry-crew for interior search, Rescue 10 to the front to assist with scene lighting. Chief 10 requested the “working fire” alarm activated. Ladder 57, Snorkel 500,Salvage 500, Air 500, Rescue 87 for RIT, Team 800 (County Hazmat Team), Rescue 61, Engine 18 were brought to the scene with this alarm. Station 320 organized firefighter rehab with Team 300 and Support 610 on-scene to assist with rehab operations.
