December started out to be a busy month for the ACVFD, the company responded to over 21 requests for service in 7 days!!!! This period of time brought several reported fires, a working first due basement fire, a vehicle crash with confinement, a working garage fire in Strawpump’s first due, and a RIT response to the kitchen fire at The Olive Garden in Bovard’s first due. Great Job by all involved in this busy time!!! Along with answering these calls, the Engine made the trip to Youngwood for the LODD Wentzel Memorial Dedication, and a parade in Herminie.
