Station 10 was requested to St. Anne commons (Strawpump’s First Due) for reported smoke in the structure. Chief 10 arrived to find a smoke condition in the basement. Rescue 2 arrived and Asst 2-2 requested the Quint to take side A and Ladder the building. Chief 2 arrived and took command, assigning Asst 2-2 to the interior. Asst 2-2 reported a worsening smoke condition and requested the incident upgraded to a working fire. The Quint and Truck 8 laddered the roof . Quint 10’s crew was assigned to open up in the basement, as they found a fire in the ceiling of the basement. Engine 10’s crew was assigned to division 2 to check for extension. After extensive overhaul and ventilation Command 2 released all units.
