Station 10 and the first alarm was dispatched to a reported kitchen fire on Candleberry Ln., in the Placid Manor mobile home park. Medic 324 and Engine 10 arrived to find a trailer fire fully involved and an exposure problem. Chief 10, knowing the dynamics of the water system in the area had Engine 10 lay a supply line immediately. A long hose lay was made with the help of mutual aid companies in a Relay Pumping configuration. Units managed to stop extension into the exposure trailer and extinguish the fire in the original structure.  Adamsburg was assisted by Manor, High Park, Strawpump, Penn Borough, the township air, vent, salvage trucks, Fort Allen (RIT), Hempfield #2 (Standby) and Grapeville (Foam Truck). Rescue 14 supplied patient care for a victim and initial rehab with Support 610 arriving to supplement Rehab. Units Operated for almost 4 hours before returning in service.
