Protectors of the West Side
Stations 10 and 104 were dispatched to Markey’s Rd. In the Yukon section of South Huntingdon Twp, for the RIT assignment. The Rescue, Service, and Squad responded and along with Rescue 104 staffed a RIT for the working commercial structure fire. The RIT had no activations and was released by Command 19 once the fire was determined to be out. (more…)
Quint 10 was activated to respond into Carbon 23 District for a tractor trailer fire endangering a structure. The tractor trailer was inside a refueling center filling up the trailer with propane when the cab of the truck caught on fire. Thankfully, the fast response of the fire departments kept the fire to the cab of the truck and did not catch the trailer or structure on fire. Great Job To All, Everyone went home safe. (more…)
Station 10 along with Rescue 2 was dispatched to Forest Dr in our First Due for a reported vehicle into a structure. Captain 10-3 arrived to find a vehicle halfway into a wood frame dwelling, no injuries, and minor structural damage. (more…)
