Firefighters from ACVFD answered 7 Calls in 14 hours on Saturday. The Volunteers responded to 5 fire alarms, 1 utility issue, and ended with a large Brush Fire in Fort Allen’s first due. Station 104 and their first alarm assignment responded to reported brush fire endangering a building. Units arrived to find a well involved brush fire that had extended into a wooded area. Access to the brushfire was hindered by the terrain. Command requested several brush trucks and ATV’s. This added our Trailgator to the assignment. (more…)

Station 10 was dispatched as part of the first alarm assignment to the H.W. Good Elementary School in Herminie’s first due for smoke in the structure. (more…)
