Busy Weekend For ACVFD

Firefighters from ACVFD answered 7 Calls in 14 hours on Saturday. The Volunteers responded to 5 fire alarms, 1 utility issue, and ended with a large Brush Fire in Fort Allen’s first due. Station 104 and their first alarm assignment responded to reported brush fire endangering a building. Units arrived to find a well involved brush fire that had extended into a wooded area. Access to the brushfire was hindered by the terrain. Command requested several brush trucks and ATV’s. This added our Trailgator to the assignment. (more…)

Station Clears for a Report of Smoke In The Structure

Congratulations Rescue 14!!!

Adamsburg and Community VFD would like to congratulate Rescue 14 on the delivery of their second new ambulance. Rescue 14 received a 2015 Medix Ford Transit from Penn-Care this week. In the next few weeks this ambulance will have the radios installed, graphics applied, and complete its state inspection. We look forward to seeing this truck out helping the community.

 

Firefighters Had A Busy Thanksgiving Day

While Firefighters were celebrating everything they were thankful for, they were summoned for several reported fires. The day started with a working fire in an exterior wall on Rocky Mountain Rd, in our first due. The Station cleared for this and knocked down a small fire in a wall behind a chimney. (more…)

Railroad St. Garage Fire

Edna Rd. Crash With Fire

Station 10 was dispatched to Route 136 for a reported vehicle crash with a telephone pole on fire. Units arrived to find one vehicle into a telephone pole on Edna road, with no injuries and a working fire in the engine compartment. Chief 10 assigned Engine 10 to fire attack. (more…)
