The Adamsburg and Community Volunteer Fire Department is looking for help keeping Fire Hydrants clear of Snow, Ice, and Debris. Hempfield Township recently provided markers for the Hydrants to keep them visible for incoming fire equipment, which is a great improvement, however we still need your help keeping the hydrants accessible. We ask that hydrants be kept clear of obstructions, snow, ice, mud and other issues. The picture above is a good example of a hydrant that may pose an issue, if snow is built up to this level, it can freeze the hydrant shut and render it unusable. Any help is appreciated!!!!
