Station 10 was dispatched to Candleberry Lane for a reported trailer fire. ACVFD Firefighters, already out on a wires incident, responded quickly to the fire. Assistant 10-3 arrived with the Engine, reporting a well advanced trailer fire and set up command. Command asked for handlines on the exposure and the fire. Engine 10 utilized a 2 inch and a 1 3/4 inch handline and knocked the bulk of the fire down as the supply line was being laid. Engine 2-1 arrived and was ordered to give water to Engine 10. Engine 61 arrived and laid out from a hydrant on Edna rd. Quint 10 sat the hydrant to make sure pressure was constant as line was laid uphill. With the fire knocked down quickly, most of the special equipment and the working fire alarm were returned to service before arrival. Firefighters quick work saved an exposure from the heavily involved trailer. After a bit of overhaul Command released all units. All units working did a great job.
Units working on the fire including staging: Engines 10, 2-1, 3-1, 13-2, 61, 94-2, Vent 3, Quint 10, and Rescue 10.
