Adamsburg and Community Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported motor vehicle collision with entrapment on Arona Road. Upon arrival ACVFD found one vehicle that left the roadway and ended up in a drainage ditch, one patient trapped inside. ACVFD used the “Jaws of Life” to extricate one patient from the vehicle. The door of the vehicle was removed and the dash of the vehicle was pushed out of the way to allow easy removal of the patient. The patient was flown to a trauma center.
