The Firefighters from our station and the surrounding areas participated in a weekend of Training. Instructor Dortenzo made the trip to Adamsburg to instruct the firefighters on vehicle rescue involving Mass Transit Buses. Attached are some pictures that show the challenges and differences involved with rescuing trapped occupants from School and Mass Transit buses along with Large Vans. The class also provided a good opportunity to familiarize with neighboring company’s equipment. ACVFD would like to thank Mike Dortenzo and Mike Bowman for their time and instruction in class. Along with the instructors ACVFD would like to thank Strawpump and HighPark for the use of their equipment during class.
