Today the Rescue truck was dispatched to a reported vehicle accident with entraptment in our first due. The Rescue and Service truck headed to the area of Beaver Rd. on Rt. 136. Medic 324 arrived and confirmed entraptment and requested the roof removed along with the drivers door. Chief 10 requested Rescue 61 to the scene to assist. As units were going to work it was determined a Helicopter was needed and then Rescue 2 was sent to our Fire Department parking lot for the Landing Zone. Chief 10 then requested Rescue 104 to the scene for additional manpower. Units working had the patient extricated in Approx 20 mins. The patient was transported to the landing zone and transported via Stat Medevac to a trauma center.
