MVA WITH INJURIES, CAR INTO STRUCTURE

 Station 10 was activated for a MVA with injuries, car into a structure on Wendel Road. Rescue 15 and Sewickley EMS were activated to assist Rescue 10 (ironically Rescue 14 EMS had just left for the hospital with a patient from a previous call right across the street from this incident!). Enroute 911 updated it to a vehicle into a Church. Chief 10 arrived to find one car into a Church in Herminie #2. The car and Church had some significant damage as the the car apparently hit a power pole and became airborne for about 30 feet with the car hitting the front door and the vestibule of the church. Salvage 500 was requested to the scene and members of Carbon VFD, Adamsburg VFD and Herminie VFD shored up the church entrance with  some 4″x4″ bracing and then covered with plywood. These companies spent about 3 hours total at this incident.
