Rescue 10, Rescue 61,Rescue 2 and Station 320 EMS; responded to Penn Adamsburg Road for a MVC with entrapment, one vehicle overturned. Rescue 10 and Rescue 61 crews stabilized the vehicle via expandable struts with the assistance of personnel from Rescue 2, The vehicle was stabilized and rescue crews used hydraulic rescue tools to open the passenger side door to allow EMS to gain access to patient. Once patient access was obtained and the patient was stabilized and prepared for extrication, the drivers door was removed. The patient was removed and then taken by Rescue 14 EMS to the waiting Stat Medevac Medical helicopter, which landed at Adamsburg VFD parking lot under the direction of Irwin Rescue 57.
