10-0137 :: Motor Vehicle Collision

Location: Arona Road, Arona Borough 

Adamsburg and Community Volunteer Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle collision on Arona Road, Arona Borough.  Upon arrival found a two vehicle head on collision with moderate damage to the front of both vehicles.  EMS was on scene reporting multiple patients and is requesting two helicopters to the scene of the collision.  Rescue 10 assisted EMS on scene with patient care and extrication.  Mean while Engine 10 set up a landing zone at the Arona Ball field and landed two helicopters at the location.  Two patients were transported to trauma centers in Pittsburgh, and one patient was taken to a local hospital.
