Neal J. Kurtiak, 74, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013. He was born July 17, 1938, in Tarentum, a son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Brown) Kurtiak. A life member of the Fort Allen Volunteer Fire Department and also member of the Fort Allen Firemen’s Club. Engine 10 and a crew went to pay last respects to our fellow firefighter. (more…)

Chimney Fire, Railroad St. Arona Borough
Station 10 and the first alarm assignment were sent to Railroad St. in Arona Borough for a Report of a Chimney Fire. Chief 10 arrived to find normal conditions from the exterior of the residence. The resident reported smoke coming from cracks in the chimney. (more…)
Public Service Detail
Adamsburg and Community VFD was asked by a resident of the community to bring a fire truck to her 4 year old son’s birthday party. He had a firefighter themed party, we even supplied them with a picture of our engine just for on his cake. All the kids enjoyed getting to ride around the neighborhood in the truck and they even got a chance to blow the air horn!
