Location: Slickville, Loyalhanna Township

Adamsburg and Community Volunteer Fire Department responded to a forest fire in Loyalhanna Township to assist Murrysville Medic One with EMS evacuations, firefighter safety and firefighter rehab.  Upon arrival we found a large forest fire with fire units from all around Allegheny and Westmoreland County deployed to fight the fire.  The Department of Forestry also had a helicopter water air drop deployed and in use at the scene. Incident # 10-0137
Date: 04-02-2010
Location: Arona Road, Arona Borough 

Adamsburg and Community Volunteer Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle collision on Arona Road, Arona Borough.  Upon arrival found a two vehicle head on collision with moderate damage to the front of both vehicles.  EMS was on scene reporting multiple patients and is requesting two helicopters to the scene of the collision.  Rescue 10 assisted EMS on scene with patient care and extrication.  (more…)
