09-0027 :: Residential Fire

Location: Main Street, Arona Borough

Adamsburg and Community Volunteer Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire on Main Street in Arona Borough. Upon arrival Quint 10 found a two story residential structure with heavy smoke showing. Fire attack team from Quint 10 stretched an attack line to the rear basement access and attacked the fire. Another line was taken in the front door to assist in extinguishing the fire that had spread from the basement to the first and second floor to the attic.

09-0004 :: RIT/Residential Fire

Location: North Greengate Road, Hempfield Township

Adamsburg and Community Volunteer Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire on North Greengate Road in Hempfield Township. Upon arrival Rescue 10 and Rescue 104 established a RIT Team operations utilizing three separate teams. Both departments worked in calibration to successfully operate a primary, backup, and rehabbing RIT team through out the fire suppression.

09-0003 :: MVC

Date: 01-02-2009
Location: Penn – Manor Road, Hempfield Township

Adamsburg and Community Volunteer Fire Department responded to a one car MVC with roll over. Upon arrival occupant of vehicle was out walking around. Operator was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

09-0002 :: Trailer Fire

Location: Millersdale Road – Green Hills Trailer Park

Adamsburg and Community Volunteer Fire Department responded to a trailer fire to assist High Park VFD. Upon arrival Engine 10 assisted with Fire Suppression, while Rescue 10 established a RIT team for this incident.

09-0001 – MVC

Incident # 09-0001
Date: 01-01-2009
Location: Route 136, Arona Borough

Adamsburg and Community Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported MVC on State Route 136 involving one vehicle. Upon arrival found one vehicle on it’s roof into a utility pole with major damage to the passenger side. The only occupant was transported to the hospital for treatment.
